Industry Expansion Program
Support under this the Industry Expansion Program customizes support for each client. Funding assistance depends on net new jobs created, total project costs and company contributions, and economic benefit to Manitoba.
The program helps companies invest in employee skills training. Financial assistance may be available for eligible projects. Support can include training for new hires and existing employees. Training may be delivered by internal staff or external organizations. Funding can also cover development or purchase of training curriculum and learning materials. It may include lease or purchase of equipment required for training. Eligible expenditures may include costs related to developing and delivering employee training programs.
Funding does not cover ongoing routine business costs. These include operational, administrative, maintenance, recruitment, capital costs, salaries, research or scoping activities, and activities that have already occurred.
